Go Fresh Go Gators

The easiest example of an entrepreneurial adventure happened in the summer of 2017 when I met Raul, Kourtney, Max, and Jen and became team trees for Catalyst. We met, idealized, researched, actualized, and presented in front of judges, investors, and faculty our entrepreneurial venture Gator Fresh. It's amazing how we accomplished this in such a short time all the while taking classes of our own.  We devised a way for students to get fresh, organic, and local produce directly from farm to table by connecting students to Community Supported Agriculture through Gator Fresh. We had to put the pedal to the metal in those last 2 weeks to be able to present our ideas at Catalyst. This experience really showed me the value in teamwork in entrepreneurship and it will be a memory I carry through my college experience and perhaps beyond.

I enrolled in ENT 3003 to fulfill the Innovation Academy's requirement for an Innovation Minor. However I'm looking forward to learning and growing as an entrepreneur and continuing to have experiences like Catalyst to continue to develop into a more complete and able student and professional.

  1. The Catalyst program you partook in seems like a great idea. I love that you decided to commit yourself to a program that inspires entrepreneurial action. Time and time again I hear people theorize and talk about how they want to be an entrepreneur but never take action and start doing things to achieve their dream. Also a big fan of the poster in your picture, love how the colors make it pop
