Bunder Bufflin Brinting Bompany
My idea to solve the problem found in 7A is to create
an efficient, streamlined, and convenient greeting card printer to sell to
grocery and convenience stores to replace their greeting card aisles. They will take the form of small kiosk
printing stations.
- On the business to business side: It will involve selling these printing kiosks from business to business and servicing them with maintenance and upkeep through contracts with the business owners.
- On the business to consumer: Will involve developing a website and interface where users can log on using Facebook. On said website they can upload photos of friends and family for their personal cards, customize pre-built templates, and write out a message to include on the card. From the website they can save it to be printed later at the store. Or for a fee we can print it at our location and ship it to wherever it is addressed to.
I like this idea more now that you have thought it through more. I think an awesome component of this idea is that you will be saving stores valuable in store real estate by just having a machine or two and getting rid of the entire card aisle. Something else to consider on the B2B side is reaching out to the companies that currently make greeting cards and ask if they want their cards to be an option on your machines and they pay you a percentage of each one of their card templates they sell through your machine. I think this would give you the opportunity to offer custom cards and the stock cards people already know and love. I'm excited to follow this idea as you continue to post about it
