WHO I’m
Esteban Velez. I play trumpet, and I’m vocally trained. I am certified in the
windows suite and know some programming. I have leadership training and
experience. I see this business as something I can work to set up and let it
live on as a successful venture I can have managed by my family.
WHAT I’m
Offering a solution to the aging greeting card industry in the form of printing
kiosks that print greeting cards in the stores. These kiosks can replace the
card aisles and help the dying industry of greeting cards. By setting up kiosks
that customers can select and customize their cards in pone stop. My product
hopes to save a dying industry and bring this tradition to the 21st century.
WHO My
customers are convenience and grocery stores who want to save space and improve
their sales experience in an innovative way.
WHY The
greeting card industry is seeing diminishing returns year after year as less
people buy cards at the store and opt for digital experiences. My product aims
to bridge the gap and make it a more personal experience that improves sales.
WHAT I think
my experience in leadership set me apart. But the best asset I have is having
my dad on my team. He has year of experience with printers and making business
plans and that’s why I think I’ll leave this business in his hands. Having my connection
with my dad will help with getting this off the ground as he has a direct
connection to the Gainesville chamber of commerce and many contacts in the startup
scene.
I believe all these aspects together could bring about
a prototype that we can test in the field through our connections and then sell
the product to stores around the state and beyond. Feedback-wise I added more
in the way of details of my product and elaborated more on my connections and
how they can help launch this business.
I like how everything here ties together and allows you to realize how your company can be successful. I like that you realize how important your connections can be and use those to your advantage. I think this napkin has allowed you to solidify your ideas going forward
